Today's project is made using the Create a Critter 2 cartridge and the Artiste cartridge. I just love making these little 3D boxes for gift cards or other little things. I have been so busy making Christmas and Halloween things that I almost forgot to make fall things. That would be a travesty as I love fall and enjoy using the colors that represent fall. This fall box has leaves that interlink as a closure, but also looks like a snowflake. It would be great for Christmas or anything winter!
I also used the Close To My Heart stamp of the month on the tag. That just shows you how versatile that Christmas stamp set is!

I don't make any 3D projects because I'm not really great at it... but I have seen where people make the 3D pinecones and I want to try those out really bad. That little acorn is SO adorable.
These would make wonderful placecard holders on our Thanksgiving table.
Yes I've already made a few of those adorable purses for gift card holders, and of course I had to try out some of those other great 3D items on the Artiste cart. They are so quick and easy to make. The tag is terrific and the box is waaaay over the top! Thanks for sharing.

Lovely fall projects. If I have an appropriate idea I like to make 3D projects.
I made some plaster ornaments (20 of them) to give for Christmas to my Red Hat sisters, and they needed boxes so that is the first ever 3 D thing I ever made, and now I'm hooked!
I really think the 3D projects are adorable, but there just isn't enough time to create everything... I love the ideas on here!

sometimes I make boxes or tags to add to my gifts, depends on how much time I have.
I like to do pop up cards and other little things but need to do more 3D projects like this one, which I really do like. This is such a good way to do little gifts for the holidays so thanks for the idea!
I always try to add dimension to my cards but I havent actually made any 3D projects. With caring for my mom, my crafting time has been very limited. I love browsing through the blogs though and seeing all the beautiful creations from others!

I never used to add 3D embellishments but since Cricut has the Christmas ornaments for free to cut I have been cutting some to hang on to packages this year. I hope everybody likes them as much as I do.

hi, first of all I am a follower of your blog, and yes I do you make 3d projects, I like making bags for my granddaughters especially right now for Halloween, they just love them and the looks on their faces makes me continue to make 3d bags for them. I used to not worry about the 3D projects but then I started seeing all your great projects with the art philosophy and artiste carts and fell madly in love!!! LOL!!! Now I'm obsessed with 3D projects especially gift boxes and goodie bags for the kids of course!
I got my Cricut last year on Black Friday, and this past year I feel much more comfortable using it. I definitely want to make some tags this year for the holidays!
