Read important news from everyday Cricut

Hello, friends of Everyday Cricut!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Everyday Cricut.

For the last several years, we have worked very hard keeping new and fresh content to inspire and encourage you all to craft. We have put many hours, blood, sweat, and tears into this blog. Many hours were spent in the craft room and not with our families to make this blog happen.

This blog has been a source of joy and pride for us, and while we are sad to let it go, we feel the time has come. We both have other blogs as well (http://www.obsessedwithscrapbooking.com/  and http://courtney-lane.blogspot.com/and have struggled in recent months to keep all of the balls we have been juggling in the air. Remember, there are only the two of us and posting as much as we do on three blogs has exhausted us. We want to give you all the quality content you deserve and feel stretched too thin to do so with three blogs in our stead. Having to maintain only one blog each will allow us to put more time into the crafts themselves thus giving you a greater blog following experience.

Our other blogs will continue though, and we hope that you all come and visit us daily. We will continue giveaways and we will both have great projects to share and inspire you. Also, you can always count on the latest in crafting news from Joy as she has her ear to the ground in the crafting world. Our connection to Provo Craft is still intact and we will continue to show you the latest and greatest from them.

Know that we have enjoyed your comments and love that you have sent our way throughout the years. You are the reason we have been able to continue this wild ride for so long. For your loyalty and encouragement, we are truly grateful!

As I said before, this is not goodbye completely as we will be posting often if not daily on the other two blogs. If you have not had a chance to sign up to follow our other blogs below are the links to do so.

Obsessed with Scrapbooking (Joy's blog)
Courtney Lane Designs (Melanie's blog)

These blogs will be predominately Cricut focused blogs just like you have come to expect from Everyday Cricut. You will still be able to get your AMAZING 3D/gift bag fix from Joy as well as see beautiful cards from Melanie. We will both also now have time for layouts and more home decor projects.

Our winner of the Space Party cartridge is LST in Colorado!
Please email us at cricutchristmas@gmail.com, LST in Colorado, with your name, address and what you won within two weeks to claim your prize.

Joy and Melanie, I am so sorry to hear this! I've been following you since you were "Christmas with the Cricut" and have learned so much from you two! I also loved getting to be "part of the team" as a guest designer. However, I don't know how you've been doing it this long, with your other blogs as well! I will definitely still be visiting you at those. You are both so talented! Hugs!!!

I am so sorry to see that this blog is coming to an end. I have truly enjoyed it and been inspired by the many different projects on it. I do follow both of your other blogs and I understand that it is very time consuming and labor intensive to juggle them. I guess that's one of the reasons I just follow blogs and don't have one myself. I hope you both feel much less stress having to run only one blog now. Blessings to you!

I so sorry to hear this. this blog will be missed. but we will see you on your blogs.

Sorry to hear that Everyday Cricut is going away. I totally understand though. Plus you each have a blog-that's a LOT of creativity going on. Thank you for all of the work you do and I will see you at your other 2 blogs :)

thank you for the 2+ years of inspiration that I have enjoyed, used, and laughed at. Just the other day I commented on your blog and was wondering how you keep it up. I look forward to continuing with your personal blogs. I know we all love crafting, but family has to take a priority. I work full time, and have a small business that I attend to, plus husband, and granddaughter, so I know it's an impossible feat. But you all did it. thanks, thanks, and best of everything to both of you. I'll see you on your blogs.

I'm sad to see Everyday Cricut come to an end. Checking the EC was part of my morning routine, from there I always checked Joy and Melanie's other blogs. I do understand; I was always amazed at the incredible talent and ideas you ladies have. I wish you well.
I do have the same question some others have, will the Everyday Cricut blog still be available for the videos, tutorials and ideas. Sometimes I would just bookmark your creations and sometimes I took the time to actually copy the pictures and directions. There is such incredible inspiration on EC that I hope it can still live in the ether world.
Smiles,

Sorry to hear that the blog will be ending-this was my go to blog when I first got my cricut. I know PC made money from me when I seen a certain card here and had to get the cartridge. Your blog was probably the first blog I found when I started looking. But I can understand I have one blog and can't keep up with it everyday so I could never do what you all do. Wish you both the best wherever your paths go, I've enjoyed the ride!

I have enjoyed your blogs for several years and I understand how
hard it would be to keep up with three of them. I subscribe to all of them.
That being said, I have been discouraged with your blogs of late because they seem to be 90% all about your selling CTMH cartridges and stamps--all very expensive--$100 for a cartridge is way out of my price range. I used to look forward to your emails everyday but now theres not much to them but whats for sale.

It is for this reason that Mirror Sunglasses have become popular sunglasses for officers of law enforcement and military. Their popularity with police officers in the
United States has earned them the nickname "cop shades". Much like an interrogation room, a suspect is unnerved by looking into a window and being unable to see who or what is looking back at him. It is also for this reason that Mirror Sunglasses are often favored by competitive poker players.

Our holiday tradition for the contest is this:
Every year "the girls" (my daughter, my daughter-in-law, granddaughters and myself) cook breakfast for "the guys" (my son, grandsons and my husband). If we do eggs and ham, we make GREEN scrambled eggs (using food coloring- Green eggs and Ham. If we do pancakes, we use red and green food coloring and make polk-a-dots or swirls in the pancake batter. For bacon, eggs and bisquits we do eggs over easy using the polka-a-dots, and the bisquits are colored red or green. We have been doing this since my son was a year old (he is now 42)! My granddaughters have become creative and have added interesting takes on muffins to our tradition!
