I love the idea of image rental - especially in a nice big bundle like the halloween one. It would be nice in the future to be able to rent individual images at any time.
I like the idea of getting the images you want...it would be nice to "purchase" an image and then have it to use whenever, not for a limited time. Very very cute projects today!
I want to learn how to do the iron ons for tee shirts, what a fun way to dress up an inexpensive shirt!!

Love the projects but I would have to use the rent a cartridge a lot to pay $20 to rent it.

Love the projects. The rental thing is a good idea, if you can scrap within the period of time that you rent the carts for. For me, that wouldn't work - deadlines...lol - not good for me. I probably would get it and time would pass me by. But good idea for the more structured with scrapping.
Fabulous idea to rent a series of cartridges like Halloween. Wish I had a cricut machine, I'd take full advantage of it.

I like the idea of rental. When I first read your blog, I thought you meant that the rental was only for that week. I'm glad the rental is for 60 days. (19.99 for two days worth of use is NOT enough time).
Cool idea having a rental bundle, very cool projects.
cute projects. tfs. not so sure about the rental idea since you won't be able to cut any projects you create after the rental period is over. maybe if you still had access to any images you used for specific projects it would be worth the money.

Rental is an interesting idea but I won't be doing it.
Rental piqued my interest but for the money I'd rather buy and have it.
Nice projects. We don't celebrate Halloween but the ideas could be useful for other occasions.

Great projects. Renting is a nice idea but I think I'd be really bummed if I rented and then wasn't able to get all the projects I wanted to do done! :) But then again, that might force me to scrap more!

Great projects!! I personally wouldn't mind renting one or two at a lower price, but it's great if someone had specific themed projects to make & they didn't have any of the cartridges!
I love your idea of renting the cartridges/images AWESOME...but is it only for a week...I am hoping it is longer than that :) I don't send Halloween cards, but I have made some. Your projects are wonderful. Hope you are going to rent a cartridge/images for Thanksgiving and Christmas....woooo!
I also think the rental is a fabulous idea, and Cricut has outdone themselves making some images available for free this year. It has made me more aware of the possibilities of "stepping out of the box" just a bit.
Love the new Cricut cartridges, too. Can't wait to use them for my three grandchildren, all under the age of two.

YES!! We just posted over 600 Halloween cards to the troops overseas (I use alot of your ideas for card making for the troops). We send them cards as well as send them cards for them to pos and send home to their children and families. There is no where for the men and women to purchase 'cards' for their children. I live in a Del Webb community and we are now working on Thanksgiving cards as we need to mail them at least 6 weeks before the holiday. Would love anything you can give me to contribute to card making for any and all holidays for our troops.

ingshxacRenting Cartridges and images is a great idea. I hope they do this for the Christmas Holidays too! I would gladly pay to rent and have the oppurtunity to use them this year and know which ones I would really like to purchase and use a for next year! We wouild need them soon though!
