I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics (free cartridge on the Cricut Craft Room) to create this "k" monogram wall art. I found this inexpensive 9" x 9" frame at Ikea (less than $10) and then used some DCWV paper as the background and for the "k" itself.
I offset the "k" and then it onto the background. A quick and easy wall decor project!

I too love autumn because it cools down a little but mostly because of my sons' birthdays and the start of the holiday season. Lots of family get-togethers!
Autumn is my facorite season. The colors and cooler weather inspire me to do more outdoor activities and there are a lot of festivals in our area, where there is a lot to do. Christmas prep takes place then too.
Autumn is okay, but the seasons in Hawaii is very similar.(lol)

Autumn is the relief period after a very hot summer. It is so needed after a North Carolina summer where days go in to the triple digits more often than not.

I love Autumn in STL where I'm from. I'm in Houston now so we really only have two seasons (hot and not so hot) but in the Midwest the leaves change color, the air gets cooler and the mornings feel so crisp and fresh. Plus it doesn't feel like a real football game without the cooler weatther.

I like Autumn for the cooler weather when hubby & I ride our tandem bike. I cannot ride a regular bike but can ride a tandem bike with hubby in front.

I love the recessed frame and the coordinating shadow on the monogram. It really makes the letter pop against the background.
My favorite thing about Autumn is Halloween! I love putting out all the decorations and puting on a party for family and friends. We take every opportunity to put the kids in their costumes.

The best thing about autumn is the apples. I lived in upstate New York for many years and loved the apple festivals and pick-your own apple orchards. Of course now I am in Florida and autumn means cooler weather, great breezes and the return of the snow birds!!!

Here in Hawaii autumn is not very much different from summer but I like that kids are back in school and things are settling down after the summer break. There's just enough time to relax before getting ready for the holidays!
