Ice Cream Soda Gift Bag with Cricut Nifty Fifties

I know it's been awhile since you've seen a gift bag so I thought today would be a perfect day to post one.  I know you've been missing them...LOL!

I saw this super cute ice cream sundae cut on the Cricut Nifty Fifties cartridge and decided it would be a fun cut for a gift bag.  But, it was missing a sentiment.
Enter the "so sweet" from the Cricut Once Upon A Princess cartridge.  I love it when I find a word art gem like this hidden on a cartridge.
The colors didn't come out great in these photos...sigh.  Sometimes teal is so tricky to get right in the photos.

Click HERE for the Gypsy file.
Click HERE for the Cricut Craft Room file.

Don't forget we are giving away a Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge this week!

This is really a cute cartridge with some cool boxes!  Check out a box I made below:

How can you win?

1) Leave a comment below letting me know of a surprise cut you have found on a cartridge.  If you don't know of any, that's ok, too - any comment is fine!  :-)
2) Subscribe or follow the blog.

Winner will be announced on Sunday, August 12, 2012 here.  Winner has two weeks to claim prize.  Allow 4-6 weeks to receive.

Be sure and check out Joy's and Melanie's personal blogs for more creative goodness at Obsessed with Scrapbooking and Courtney Lane Designs!

Great gift bag..like how you used images from two separate carts and they blend in as if made to be together.

My favorite secret find is all the sayings on Wild Card. I thought I had saved a word document on all the sayings but now I can't find it...can't remember under what name/category I saved it. I hate it when I do that! Anyway, I bought the cartridge for the cards/envelopes and was TOTALLY thrilled with the treasure trove of sayings that are included (I can remember the list was 116..just need to find where I stored it on my computer!!)

Darling bag!! My favorite 'hidden cut' is on Give a Hoot, page 53, bottom L side of page is a rabbit2
, holding a balloon that if turned upside down looks like a rabbit on skis! Funny how you can see things you wouldn't normally see when you find your book turned over on the cutting table!! Such a nice little treat! Thanks for the cart giveaway!

Debora L said...

SO SWEET!!!! Love that. While it is nice to find the "hidden gems" I hate when I find one AFTER I needed it and settled on something different. I wish you could see all there is on a cart (an easier way that is). I trick I have come up with is to use the gel pens and 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock, then using Cricut Craft Room I make a sheet of every cut on the cart and "cut" which actually draws it out. I then keep it in a notebook. That way when I am looking for something but not sure what I can see all I have.

I guess the one that surprised me was the 'Happy Mother's Day' on Wild Card -- considering that they had left out the picture of the finished card & envie PLUS they had nothing at all in the Frame Creative Feature! I found them by programming the cut into my E and then drawing [badly] into my book so I'd remember what they looked like!!

Love your gift bags! I can only imagine the smile on the face of anyone who receives one you created! TFS! As far as surprises on cartridges, I just have to say that I really love the Hello Kitty Font cartridge! It has some wonderful fonts, some very cute and some just fun and it surprises me how much I like to use them!

Such a cute bag. 3 birds life's a party has such cute images and phrases. I used that cartridge to today to make a tee shirt for my aunt's birthday. It read "Nifty at" and it was circular so you could put whatever number you wanted in the circle.

Great cut and cartridge.

Love the bag!
