Today's hexagonal flower box comes from the wonderful Cricut Artiste cartridge. This was a really easy box to put together and the flowers themselves actually hold the whole thing together so you really don't need to even glue.
I cut the box at 9.375" to get the largest box I could. It comes with score lines to help you figure out how to make the folds. Also, the Cricut Artiste cartridge comes with a separate booklet showing how to make all the boxes on the cartridge (bonus!). There is plenty of room inside for things like kisses or starburst candies. I chose to cut two flowers and then offset them.
Now, I used one of the stamp sets that come with the Cricut Artiste cartridge to make the "hip-hip-hooray" sign. The stamp set tells you exactly where the banner cut is on the cartridge and what size to cut it at. What could be easier? No more fussy cutting!

Beautiful box. For Labour Day I plan on sleeping fro the whole 24 hours. We just got back from Hawaii...awesome trip, but I'm from Ontario Canada...6 hour time change plus add in about 10.5 hours of flying and 6 or so waiting in airports. 5 days later...still suffering from jet lag I drive with my hubby to drop my daughter off at university...a 17 hour drive. We're here fro 3 days then driving home to hopefully lie unconscious in bed. Lee-Ann :)

Cute box. I like the chic and scary cart and hope to win. We have the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival here in town every Labor Day. Last year Tropical Storm Lee soaked us and this year Hurricane Isaac has postponed it one day. Hopefully damage won't be too bad. Wind is really blowing outside right now. :/

For Labor Day we are entertaining my daughter's college volleyball team as they travel to California from Virginia. Great times ahead.
