A Pinch Of Love Lobster Card

I saw in the comments on Monday that someone wanted more projects with older cartridges so I thought I would make a fun card using the Cricut Pack Your Bags and Birthday Bash cartridges.  The lobster is from Pack Your Bags and the card itself is from Birthday Bash (a great source of cute cards!). They're over a year old (so not super old) but I also used the waves from the Going Places cartridge, which is like 2007 or so.
I've always loved this lobster on the Cricut Pack Your Bags cartridge, but struggled to find a good sentiment to go with him.  Enter the Close to My Heart "Under the Sea" stamp collection ($13.95). Take a look below:

To get the stamp above to work, I had to cut the stamped sentiment away from its lobster.  That's ok since I plan to mostly use it in this way.
Again with this wiggle eyes, I know...LOL!  But I like how fun he looks this way!

Click HERE to get the Cricut Craft Room file.
Click HERE to get the Gypsy file.

Did you know we give away a cartridge (and sometimes more) each and every week?

Don't forget to register for this week's drawing for the Cricut Creative Memories This 'n That cartridge ($55 value):

How can you win?

1) Leave a comment below:  Do you mind when we use more than 2 cartridges on a project?
2) Subscribe or follow the blog.

That's it!

Winner will be announced Sunday, May 6, 2012.  Winner has two weeks to claim prize.  Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Iit's great that you use more than one cartridge, we need to make good use of all that we have in our collections. It also helps to show how versitile the cartridges are.

Like the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge. The Crab reminds me of Sebastian from Disney The Little Mermaid.
