Hi, Kendra here again with a really fun recipe to make this growing season. It is my Cherry Crisp Recipe! This recipe layout was super easy to make and only took about 30 minutes or so to complete making it.
.
It was created with the Cricut Expression, The Cricut Gypsy, the Preserves Cricut Cartridge, the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge and Basic Grey Lemonade Paper Pack along with my favorite glue in the world...
Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Adhesive Glue (the one with the blue lid)
and my favorite detailing pen, the UM-153 Signo Black Gel Pen!
I am having a technical glitch with getting my files off of my Gypsy but would still love to share my Cherry Crisp recipe with you! I have it typed out in PDF format so you can print it on a recipe card and make your own layout. The recipe size card you need is 7.25 inches wide and 4 inches tall.
Your background is 8 inches x 8 inches.
HERE is the Recipe!
Here is the progression of the layout creation.
Glue down the recipe card shadow and the welded word Cherry Crisp.
Add the Cherries that have been layered. You will find the Cherries on Preserves.
Cut 3 in each direction...utilizing the flip key.
Print off your recipe and glue it to the shadow.
Do the detail pen work with the Signo Gel Pen.
I just drew random lines along the edges of everything to detail and make the images stand out more.
Here is another look at the layout!
If you liked this layout, head on over to ScrappinCricut to see recipe layouts from a Swap I hosted several years ago. There are 200 recipes to look at! I would love to hear what your favorite one is! :-)

This is SO cute! I will copy it to make a set of "family" recipes from my late Father In Law. These "special" recipes deserve to be displayed on something equally as special!

Pretty layout! Love the colors and the pen outlines. TFS!
I love the idea of making a recipe scrapbook, but I've always thought it would be too overwhelming a task. Something to consider for special family recipes only, perhaps. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
I love making recipe layouts!! I have several that I have done and I just need to keep on making them and put them in a mini album. Your page is so adorable and that recipe sounds really yummy!!
Tracy

Realy good idea. A 'special' recipe book is in order. Thanks for another family oriented idea. My mom's recipes were lost. This can later be a special momento for my daughter.TFS.
a recipe scrapbook is the reason I want to try digital scrapbooking. I have 4 children, two now 'out of the nest' and two almost. I want to share some of our family recipes with them - but since I need one for me and 4 for them, I think digital is the way to go on this.
Great layout. I just got some of my grandma recipes and try to come up with some way to make them special and preserve them. This gives me an idea to work from. The 8x8 size would work much better than doing a 12x12 page. Thanks for the idea.

Great idea!!! Love the recipe card layout. My frinds are always wanting recipes for food I take to retreats. So what a better way to share my recipe with them than like this. Thanks!
Love your layout. I never really thought about scrapping recipes. What a great way to pass along my favorite recipes.

I am making family Scrap cook books as gifts for 15 people, right now! This has been an ongoing project for over a year! Very consuming! After all this time, I still don't have all of their recipes. Thanks for that little bit more inspiration I need to jump into the next set of pages!

Very cute page. So creative!
My fav memory with a recipe is when my oldest daughter was just 2yrs old and we made banana bread for the first time. I let her pour and mix, she had a cute dress on and I had some pics of her eating the batter. Thanks for reminding me of that moment, she's going to be 15yrs at the end of this month.

I have a family cookbook started with recipes from all my family..there are so many cute papers and embellishments now..
Beautiful LO, love that you highlighted the recipe! I have started a recipe scrapbook of some of our favorite recipes but haven't gotten very far, thanks so much for the inspiration to start on it again!
Darling layout for your recipe, Kendra!
My favorite cookie recipe was handwritten by my wonderful aunt about 35 years ago. I can barely read it, but don't want to replace it....yet.
Nothing gets a person's attention more with a recipe than when it is colorful and fun.
Things like this are the whole reason I bought the Preserves cart.
Very cute layout. Now I remember why I bought the Preserves cart. :) lflinesatcomcastdotnet

I LOVE the idea of making recipe cards! I just recently got married, and for one of my wedding showers each of the attendees brought one of their favourite recipes to share with me. I've been planning to combine them into a cookbook. This is the perfect way to make it really personal and fun. Love it!!
