I then searched around for some other cute dog images and found the "doggone good" on the Cricut Just Because Cards cartridge and the "best friend" dog tag on the Cricut Paper Pups cartridge.
I added stitching along his ears and nose for definition. I also made an additional shadow (the black layer behind the red layer) on the dog using the Cricut Craft Room, for just a bit more definition. Also, before I got going, I wasn't sure what background paper I was going to use and thought the black edging would help.
I always love "wiggle eyes" as you may have noticed by now. I think they make a project so cute! I also added silver balls to make a mouth. There was just the vertical line and I wanted him smiling.
Finally, I used the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots folder to emboss the background to the "doggone good". Brads gave the placard some border definition. I also offset the "good" layer for some depth.

Your doggy looks a lot like my Ranger. (except mine has black over both eyes, like the Lone Ranger) We have a cat named "Mushi Mushi" too. I think I like dogs better...Some cats are really friendly, but always only on their terms! The dogs I have had were always up for a good belly rub!

Dogs or cats? We have a cat (actually it is a grandkitty that got left here when daughter went to college), and we take care of our other grandkitties when necessary. But we also had a dog that was the most loyal, protective, loving family member that an animal could be! So, like the cat we have but also loved the dog we had. TFS.

What a cute bag! I can see using it for gifts for all my doggy loving frienday. I grew up a cat person, married a dog person & now love & have both! But my small dogs are my children....
First a congrats to Tricia...Love the gift bad..I have used this dog for cards and also used the google eyes which seem to really make him pop!! I am actually a dog lover (I have a Sheltie named Scooter) I do like cats but don't like them jumping up on table etc.

Oh, gosh, that is a hard one. I truly love them both! I currently have 2 male cats that are brothers and 8 years old. They were originally born as barn cats, then came home as kittens from the farm with my 3 sons. We continued to keep them outside, letting them into our garage to eat and sleep. About 2 years ago, they became super curious about the house, and would run in any time a door was opened. Now, they spend most of their time indoors. However, they will go to the door and meow (they learned this all on their own) when they need to do their business, or just want out for a little while.
Just 2 years ago, we had to put down our first baby, a black female Chow, who was the gentlest, sweetest, most loyal friend and pet we ever could have had for our sons. She was 13 1/2, and we still can't even look at another dog, we miss her sooo much.

At our house we learned a hard lession NEVER let you child work in a pet store while still living at home. We have had dogs and cats but I believe cats have been the best. We just had to put our oldest one down. He was 14 years old and we had him since he was 5 weeks old. So hard... I miss him so. darling bag ... I love the colors.
I love the red accent color; it gives everything a unifying effect. I also thought that Doodlecharms didn't have much to offer. I guess I was wrong.

I adore this gift bag. I love dogs, but have not had one since I was a little girl. My own children have had cats - and we let them mate so they could experience the birth of little kittens. Well, that happened to take place around 1:00 in the morning. We were exhausted but the kids joy and excitement as they watched the miracle of life was worth losing sleep!

I love cats more-they r self sufficient. I do love my yellow lab Buddy tho! Wouldn't trade him for 100 cats!!

Dogs or cats? I love them both for different reasons. I love dogs because their sooooooooooo loyal; I love cats just because their cats :)
We just lost our dog named Conan and cat named Lacey. They were both run over. My son found them and was devastated. I hope they didn't suffer. We still have one cat named Leonardo. He is kind of an arrogant cat but we love love love him..... and he's staying inside where he's safe. (Sorry for the long post.)
