A wonderful season wall hanging made using the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Hello, everyone!

Today I have a project that is not my usual card or scrapbook layout. For whatever the reason I have felt the need to branch out lately and it has come in the form of more home decor and fabric items.

This wall hanging was one that I decided to do after I noticed that the CTMH ART PHILOSOPHY cartridge had something for every season on it. It only made sense to make something that would incorporate all seasons and something that you could hang on your wall all year around. Also, I wanted to really play with the stamps that are included with the bundle that comes with the cartridge. The font they used with this stamp set is FABULOUS!

If you are interested in buying this cartridge you can do so today by click here ====> Melanie's Close To My Heart Website . The cartridge is only sold as a bundle which includes three full stamp sets and 3 sheets of coordinating dimentional chipboard.

Besides the stamps that are included in the bundle there are many stamp sets that are included in the new catalog that also coordinate with the ART PHILOSOPHY cartridge. Isn't that great! There are even several Christmas sets that would make your Christmas cards a snap to make! You gotta love that!

The wall hanging is just a frame that I bought at Target. It was actually on clearance, so I might have paid like $12 for it. It is 16" x 16", so it is a really nice size!

The paper I used is from American Crafts.
The stamps are all from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy bundle.
I cut the snowflake at 3 1/2".
The leaf at 3 1/2".
The sun at 3 1/2".
The flower at 3 1/2".
The heart out at 1 1/2". The scalloped oval at 2" and it is sitting on a coordinating piece of dimentional chipboard that some with the bundle.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I love the CTMY cartridge. The most expensive cartridge I purchased in the past couple of years, but worth every penny.

There was a question above asking if we prefered dogs or cats. As pets, I have a dog and a bird. But I do have two cats that own me and dictate my moves when I am at home. One loves showers and thinks nothing of waking me in the middle of the night. I do not have a shower downstairs, so she jumps in the tub and I have to fill a flower watering can with water and slowly pour it over her. Sometimes she insists on two containers full.

There must be something in the air...I have been dipping into home decor projects, too! Two separate needs are fulfilled when you, either: create to capture/convey an emotion, (as in a card), and give it away; or satisfy a creative vision and allow yourself to keep it, (as in home decor). I LOVE the way your project turned out!
As for my pet preference, I am definitely a dog-lover, through and through. Although, we've had snakes, assorted lizards, gerbils, birds, and even a cat.

We have had both cats and dogs, and have loved every one of them (among many other critters). Currently we are "pet-less"... in the hopes of traveling and not have to arrange pet-sitters. I dont think it will last long... our home is getting too quiet...

Besides I have alot of scrapbooking to catch up on before we can travel any more.
