I love the Sports Mania Cricut Cartridge since it has such cool, graphic designs on it for all kinds of sports. I was trying to think of a masculine gift bag I could make and wondered if I could find some good images on this cartridge. Well, let me tell you - there are TONS! Take a look below:
This is a full cartridge, complete with borders, backgrounds and lots of layers. To see the entire handbook, head over HERE.
I love making my own gift bags, as you may have noticed. They are really easy and quick and can be tailored to the person you are making them for. Also, it's much less expensive! For this bag, I needed the bag itself, four colors of cardstock (all colors I am sure you have - red, white, blue and brown), a red and white striped ribbon, a smaller ribbon to hold the tag, and a white gel pen.
Below is a close-up of the word art. I cut a white ball and backed it with red to go in the center. Otherwise it would all be one color (blue) which is not what I wanted.
This bag was plain Jane until I added the white Signo Uniball pen stitching!

This is such a cute, cute gift bag. Great idea. I absolutely love the Sports Mania cartridge. Both my son and daughter played soccer, baseball & softball, and my son also played football, and now is coaching football as a graduate assistant in grad school, so I get a lot of use out of this cartridge. I love the Sports Mania Cartridge! As an avid volleyball player/coach - it's so great to find a cartridge that actually has realistic volleyball designs! Truth be told, Sports Mania is not a cartridge I plan to invest in. I am the mom of two grown girls...But if grandkids come along who play sports, well, then we might need to reconsider! I do like your gift bag though! Would be a fun treat for a sports fan. TFS.

Love the bag, especially with all your special touches. I try to use the Signo gel pen at times but have not yet gotten the technique down quite right. I think the Sports Mania cartridge has lots of uses...I don't have it but maybe it's something I need to look into. I like that it covers so many sports activities and not just one.

I'd never considered this cartridge before, but you have definitely changed my mind! My teenage grandsons are all very active in sports and also into "looking cool", but I don't think they'd object at all to receiving as great a gift bag as this. I really like it and the white pen stitching ads so much!

Sports Mania was one of the first cartridges I bought and it is one of my favorites. I make scrapbooks for my daughter who plays softball and the cuts are adorable.
