This is going to be a week of gift bags and boxes. We all need that quick bag or box to put a gift in and at Michaels or Joann's they are 12 for $9.99 before using a coupon. With a coupon it comes down to 50 cents a bag.
The above bags were made using 3 cartridges (I know, I'm sorry!). The first cartridge was the Cricut Imagine Teresa Collins Baby Boutique and I used that to print out the damask paper. There are excellent papers on that cartridge.
Above is a close up of just one bag. The "E" was cut at 6".
I just love the monogram features on the new Cricut Creative Memories Divine Wedding cartridge. Check out the other goodies on this cartridge below:

I embossed the background of the E with a 5 x 7 damask Cuttlebug folder called Kassie's Brocade.
The tag above was made using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, which Melanie has for sale HERE. There is a great tag and label feature key on this cartridge. I cut the tags at 3", which made the tag and the scalloped edging. The inside fleur de lis was cut at 1-1/2" and glued on. I wrote my sentiment on the back of the tag.

Beautiful bags! Since I am still just learning card (and other things) making with my new Cricut Expression, I have been trying all sorts of tools and resources. I still use my glue stick a lot because it is comfortable and familiar to me, but have bought a device that rolls a thin strip of adhesive out like a correction tape - it is by Scotch, and is quickly becoming my favorite adhesive method. I love this Fun in the sun cartridge and would love to win it!!

I tried a double sided tape roller at my LSS but can't remember the brand that worked nicely but I never bought it, I usually use the scotch double sided tape
For a liquid adhesive I really like Scotch quick dry glue. The fine point is very nice.

Ooh la la! These bags are sure to outshine the gifts! My favorite adhesive is my ATG. However, sometimes you need a liquid...My favorite liquid adhesive is Zig 2-way. A close second is Tombow mono multi, (because I prefer the applicator on the Zig).
These are fabulous! Love the pattern, love the color scheme, love the simple elegance! Wish I had such an occasion to plan!
Love my Cricut. These are gret ideas. My favorite adhesive is Liquid Glass made by Close To My Heart- it is very agressive and will hold anything in place. I also depend on Sticky Strip by Stampin Up for lots of projects where a liquid adhesive is not needed. As you can tell, I do not want my projects coming apart!

I can't live without my ATG gun, and for liquid adhesive I love Scotch Quick Dry, Tombow Mono Multi, Glossy Accents, and Zip Dry.
I also use Front Porch Treasures foam tape ~ buy it at Big Lots, and it's SO much cheaper than other brands.

Making your own gift bags are so much fun!
My favorite adhesive for small embellishments is the Herma Dotto that you use with a dispenser and for adhering paper to chipboard(for keepsake albums, etc) I LOVE 3M Positionable Mounting Adhesive. Not only is it easy to use and gives full coverage but you can use the peel away backing as a "mat" for when you are using the dipensible kind of adhesives with out getting any on your workstation when you go over the edges (especially for tiny embellishments! :)

My best craft tip would be to use the Creative Memories pick up square to clean up little pieces of glue from pages/crafts. For example, when placing letters on pages after using precision point adhesive or Xyron sticker maker, there is always a little residue on the page. With the pick up square I can clean it up in a second. Absolutely LOVE it! I would also LOVE to win this cartridge!
