I have seen people decorate clothes pins and wanted to give it a try. I found a huge pack of clothes pins at Walmart for like $1 and then using Mod Podge, adhered paper to the front of them. I measured the approximate size and then I trimmed off any excess paper with scissors. I then Mod Podged over the top of the paper. I added a strip of magnet to the back of each clothes pin. Walmart sells them in just the right size.
The tops of the clothes pins are from the new Cricut Sophie cartridge (a Cricut Circle exclusive). They are actually the tops to the bookmarks that can be made on the cartridge so they were cut at 5-1/2" (as they are proportional to the bookmark itself).
I made some rosettes and mounted the flowers, butterfly and bird onto them. Making rosettes is best done with a hot glue gun. Anybody recognize the phone number below? Hee hee...
For those of you who don't have the Sophie cartridge, you could substitute these flowers, bird and butterfly with other comprable images found on cartridges like Home Decor, Paisley, Accent Essentials, Songbird, Hello Kitty, etc.
I used paper by Basic Grey, Bo Bunny and Stampin Up!.
Don't forget that we are giving away the Cricut Formal Occasion cartridge this week!
