This quick, easy and pretty gift bag was made using the new Cricut Art Nouveau cartridge. I love decorating gift bags! It's really easy and fun and then you can personalize it to the person's taste! This one is for my mom's birthday, which is coming up in a few weeks.

I loved these beautiful tulips and thought it would make a good center focal point to my gift bag. There are such gorgeous flowers on this cartridge and they are so easy to cut! I cut the tulips at 7". The white background is actually the shadow layer for the cut. Then, I added a black border to it to make it pop.
Now, for the kicker....the bag is actually more like the purple shown below. I had to lighten the photo considerably to get it to the actual color. Don't know what it is about photographing purple but it can be tricky.

This is really a pretty bag. I especially like the pansy on this cart...those are my fav flower.
And I agree, purple is hard to take pics of. I always thought it was the lights at J's when I tried to take pics of cakes in class, but it must've been the purple.

Such a great idea and with the cost of bags or the fact that you just can't get to a store, it makes perfect sense to pretty up a plain bag that you have sitting around. Have to remember to keep some plain bags on hand, maybe from the dollar store.

You are such an enabler. I wasn't that interested in this cartridge, but now I've taken a really good look at what there is on it. Sure wish I could of had this last school year, my grandson had to do a project on the yellow-headed black bird and there is a cut on this cart with cat-tails that would of been perfect.
