Tiptoe through the Tulips Bloom Layout

Photobucket
Since it's May, we're all about the flowers this week!  April showers bring May flowers, after all.

Today's bright layout was made using the Echo Park Summer Days paper line and the Cricut Lite Bloom cartridge.

Photobucket

The layout is 12" x 12" and the photo mats are 3.5" x 5".
Photobucket

I put a little hidden journaling tag behind the top photo with a sticker tag that came in the Echo Park paper pack.

Photobucket
These tulips were cut at 2-1/2" and are four layers each.  The green grass layer is a border sticker also included in the paper pack.

Photobucket
Between the two photo mats, I cut the large tulip bulbs at 1", all layers.

Photobucket
Finally, "tiptoe through the tulips" was cut at 3-1/4", all layers.

It's a bright layout - hoping not too much for everyone!  I love this paper but it can be challenging handling all the different patterns (crossing fingers about it...).

Don't forget we are giving away the Scrap 'n Easel this week!  Leave a comment below and under each post this week to maximize your chances!

Be sure and check out Joy's and Melanie's personal blogs for more creative goodness at Obsessed with Scrapbooking and Courtney Lane Designs!

Have a great day! This post may contain affiliate links.

I think the paper works okay. I agree that putting pattern paper together can be challenging. From Monique, I have begun to do a lot of chalking to make a cleaner divide between patterns.
