This cute dog and "faithful friends" saying can be found on page 45 of the handbook (see below):
To start making this card, I cut the card using the card feature for the dog at 6". The rule with these pop ups is to cut the pop up at 1/2" smaller than the card size so I cut the pop up at 5-1/2".
I thought it would fun to add a layer on top of the scallops so I used a 1" circle punch and layered the yellow plaid on top of the scalloped edge. It worked perfectly! Did I mention where I got this cute dog paper? It's by SEI and called Park Buddies. The dog is cut from some oatmeal colored Bo Bunny double dot paper.
I pop dotted the dog and the "faithful friends" word art to add some dimension. I cut the dog at 2-1/4" using all layers. I cut the "faithful friends" word art at 1-1/2", also all layers. I highly recommend cutting all the layers on the die cuts - it adds so much!
Now, onto the pop up:
Regular readers know I can't resist using wiggle eyes. I figured the card was so bulky already, what could some wiggle eyes hurt? LOL!
