Hello, everyone!
What do you guys think of what you are hearing so far about the new
E2 machine? Do you guys have any questions? If so leave them in the comments and Joy and I will do our best to answer them for you. I have used the new machine to make about 4 projects so far and I think it is very intuitive. Those of you who have Imagines will have no problem adjusting to the new machine. Also, those who do not should pick it up very quickly. They really went out of their way to make it user friendly! I have three favorite features. 1) You can save customized cutting settings 2) you can cut multiple things at once at multiple sizes and 3) you can see your image on the mat before you cut it(no more wasting paper!).
Today I have my first layout made using the new machine and two of the cartridges that are in the machine....
Just A Note and
Cricut Alphabet.
Just A Note is lots of fun because it was designed by those wonderfully creative people over at Cosmo Cricket and
Cricut Alphabet has a great type face font!

| I cut the banner out at 3 1/2". 'Ethan' is cut out at 1". |

| This party hat is cut out at 2". |

| The noise maker is cut out at 2 1/2" |

| I cut 'six' out at 1 3/4". |

| The number 6 is cut out at 2 1/2". |
Also, I want to point out that in the first photo you can see the NEW
Scrap & Easel which is a great tool for scrapbooking. I plan on using mine predominately for taking photos of my layouts. It is absolutely perfect for that! Also, it is a great aid for actually scrapbooking as it includes this super magnets to keep you layout in place. It is nice to see your layout in an upright angle. I love sharing with all of you when I find something new that I ABSOLUTELY love!

Great LO.....I'm not interested in either the Imagine or the new E2 I have & love my Baby Cricut and my Expression (Pink) they work fine and I love creating but it's fun seeing what you do with all the new things and then run with the ideas with what I have.

Question- does the E2 cut chipboard, shrinky dink, etc like the E does. I use .022 chipboard, which is a bit heavier than cereal box thickness on my E with no problem. Disappointed that the I can't. Thanks

Love the layout! Banners are really in. About the E2 it is great. Sorry I can't buy it cause my husband just bought me the Expresion around a month ago. So I have the small bug and the big bug. And now they came out with the E2. Well... I do love my bugs!!!!!

Very cute lo! I do have one question. I noticed that you can't move the images around the mat on the screen of the E2. I was really looking forward to having that feature, especially since having the Imagine & wishing I could move images on that. Do you know if this is an update that they are trying to get on either machine? I realize that I could just use my gypsy all the time to place things where I want, but I'd like to be able to just do it at the machine. And for people without a gypsy or who do not want to use a computer program, it would be a very nice feature for them.

Love the features you are talking about. But I just recently started using my Expression recently and cannot justify getting a new one.
What a fun layout -- and the little ones love seeing the number of their years. Will be a sweet reminder of how fun "6" was!

I do have a question about the E2. Will we be able to link up the new carts that come with the E2 to our Gypsy? I use my Gypsy alot to design my layouts and cards and to customize the size of my images. It would be very helpful to use these carts with my Gypsy. I love your LO! Very Cute! I don't think I will be getting an E2; my E works just fine and in this economy, I simply can't justify the expense, even as cool as it sounds!

Fabulous layout. I didn't get the imagine but am REALLY leaning towards the E2. My question is about the Wi-Fi port...it looks empty. Is it Wi-Fi enabled? If not, will it be? Have a tiny craft area and this is a real selling point for me! Thank you.

You guys are making it incredibly difficult to resist buying the E2 on the 26th!! But I guess that's your job, huh? ;)
I do have a question though...is it at midnight on the night of the 25th into the 26th? Or midnight on the 26th into the 27th? I work on the night of the 26th, so I'm really hoping its the night of the 25th so I can at least watch and have DH hide my credit card!! :)
And will they be announcing the price before that night or will we just have to be patient? :(

I love this layout with all the banners. Does the E2 have something like a "pause" and "continue" feature? Often times when I use the "Stop" key on my Expression I want to continue instead of starting all over but can't.

Great layout!!! I have the 1st Expression, and financially, I can't see getting the second one anytime soon! But have to note...the magnetic easel is truly mighty handy...I lay my scrapbook layout flat on my desk & stare at it trying to decide if it looks right or not. It would be alot easier to look at & decide if it were upright!!

This is so...so adorable!
I am really interested in the E2. I like all of the additional features it offers. I am not totally sold on the Imagine yet. I'm not sure that the printing capability is something I would use. However, I suspect that once you have it, you would use it! As always, I love what you have done, and you always make me want what I don't have!

I am very excited about the E2 and curious to the price. One function I wish was possible is to have the settings for each image to be cut on the mat so I can use different types of paper on one mat.
