Okay, lots of projects today again with the Cricut Imagine All Wrapped Up cartridge. You may be wondering why I have made so much with it. Well, first of all, it's bright and fun and I love all the cards and boxes. And secondly, you will be able to use this Imagine cartridge in the new Cricut Expression 2, which goes on sale on April 26 on HSN.
While it won't print these papers, it will cut them. So, you only need to substitute your own gorgeous designer paper.
OK, onto the first project: This folded card was cut at 4", all layers. I only used two of the layers, though and that was to hide my ribbon ends.
Above is how it opens. Below, you can see the second half circle layer adhered to the flap. I used pop dots to give dimension.
And finally, a cute birthday stamp by My Creative Time!
Onward to this cute and super easy cupcake card and matching little basket. I cut the box at fit to page and the card at 5-1/2". There is also a matching envelope you could cut (not shown).
Inside is some word art also from the All Wrapped Up Imagine cartridge. I cut that out and then pop dotted it onto the inside of the card.
Here is a side view of the cupcake basket. I cut both layers and pop dotted them onto the original basket top.
Another funky little basket made from these Russian dolls. I pop dotted all the layers on the dolls. I needed to create a 1" ring for the inside to adhere the dolls to. This would be cute with some Easter eggs or candy inside (if only I had decorative grass for the photo...).
Now, here's the gem that makes this All Wrapped Up cartridge a must have: the milk carton! No other cartridge has a milk carton! When you print and cut the box below (as they designed it), there is little stitching along it to show you where to score, but NO cut lines (yay!).
I cut this at fit to page and it stands 6" tall (to top) when assembled. I adhered this little doll to one side and on the other put a sentiment layer.
Finally, this led to these Cricut Circle logo paper milk cartons. For more information on those cartons and how to make the paper yourself, head over to my blog at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.
That's it for today! Check back tomorrow for one of Melanie's spectacular layouts!
