Easter Layout with Martha Stewart Seasonal Art

Do you hear that sound? That is Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail. He should be here soon and you will want to capture those special holiday moments and scrap them. To get you started with your Easter scrapping I created this fun layout on the Cricut Expression Machine using ONLY ONE cartridge - Martha Stewart Seasonal Art. That's right - everything on this layout was cut using the MS Seasonal Art cartridge - even the photo mats!!!

I used Bazzil cardstock and Bo Bunny papers to create this layout. I love the pretty pink Bazzill Bling cardstock as the base pages. I left space for only one photo on the left page - but that is because I have that adorable chickie banner, the elegant Happy Easter title and the fun little floral bunny tag.

The right page holds three photos, embellished with ribbons, as well as a mini chickie banner and bunny tag. The background shape on both pages was cut in Bo Bunny pink print and matted on Bazzill dark chocolate brown cardstock.

The Happy Easter title was cut in two layers and mounted on a piece of polka dot cardstock. I used a Copic Egg Shell colored marker to make the words pop a bit on the white background of the dot cardstock. The dotted cardstock was matted on a chocolate brown scallop trimmed strip - again all shapes from the MS Seasonal Art cartridge - and welded together in Cricut Design Studio.

One of my favorite element on these two pages is the chickie banner. This came out soooo stinkin' cut! I cut the base banner layer in chocolate brown and the middle banner layer in pink. I cut the top banner layer in white smooth cardstock and trimmed away the the connectors. The chicks were cut in a yellow on yellow Bo Bunny print and accented with a Copic marker.

I cut the bunny tag layers twice, once for each page. I then went back and added embellishments to the tags: Ribbon, chipboard flowers, crochet flowers and buttons. I like the floral print bunny best. I used a Copic marker to outline the bunnies.
