Today I have a layout I made using a kit that I bought several months back from Close To My Heart. I was cleaning and organizing my scrap room and found it. I immediately put it on my desk for use. Buying kits is not something I usually do because I like to design my own stuff. This one was just so pretty and I thought I could add some Cricut cuts to alter it.
I used both the Picturesque cartridge(which is my all time favorite) and the NEW Nate's ABC's cartridge for the title.

| I cut the bird at 2" and the branch out at 2 1/4". |
 |
| 'celebrate' is a sticker from Close To My Heart as is the circle sticker on the 'o'. I cut 'you' out at 1" using Nate's ABC's. |

I'm so glad to see a project using the Picturesque cartridge! My husband got me the champagne colored Expression for Christmas and it came with this cartridge. This is my first Cricut and it's the only cartridge that I own, but I hadn't had luck finding project using it! This one came out so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Really nice! I love that the Cricut gives us so many options to "dress up" simple layouts or cards.
These are great subtle colors. I am not a big fan of kits, but sometimes they do provide a great starting point. Nice work!

I have felt the same way about buying kits. But I've sure been seeing some beautiful layouts with them. Tempts me to spend more money :)
Beautiful layout. I don't by kits very often either but when I am in a time crunch, they sure make it quicker! I love the bird cut, it is perfect for the page.
