I got the idea for making these boxes from the splitcoaststampers.com site and thought it would be so much easier to make these boxes using the Cricut Design Studio software. So, using the Plantin' Schoolbook cartridge, I created some cut files for you to use to make the boxes. I have a cut file for both a 4" box and a 5" box. You can download the cut files HERE and HERE!
For those of you who don't have the Design Studio software, you can download a trial version of it by clicking HERE! Follow the steps to get it up and running as shown on the site and then, with the trial version, you can cut with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge! That means you can use these files to make the boxes!
If all that seems daunting, click HERE to head over to splitcoaststampers and they have directions for making the boxes by tracing patterns, etc. It's very easy but it does take some time.
I used the Joys of the Season cartridge to cut tags for the boxes.
EDIT: For the 4" box: Please score the bottom box section at 2-1/4" from the left edge and turn until all sides are scored. For the 5" box, please score at 2-3/4" from the left edge and turn until all sides are scored. Continue on as the video shows. I am sorry the larger size box wasn't covered in the video and I hope this helps!

String was not recognized, etc". Am I doing something wrong??? really wanted to use this file tonight... Sigh!
