I recently started to design for IOD from Creative Imaginations/Night Divine. The paper is designed by Sally Griswold and her sister Josie. Ok-Can you imagine designing paper? I cannot wrap my head around it. Well, Sally issued a challenge to do a December Daily along with her. So I started one.
I know a few people that are doing the 365-WOW that is too much for me. I think 31 days is much more manageable.
So here is a take on mine- I did not use my cricut on the front. The paper was so beautiful I wanted to show it off.
I added bling, a little paper glaze on the butterfly. I also popped up a few holly elements to give it depth.
Btw-Mine is 8x8
My first day we put up our tree. So I cut trees and the title from "Winter Frolic".
Day 3-Holly was cut from Joys of the Season---You get the picture.
Click here to see Day 4 and a few more pictures and follow me. **There is a few new kits out thru Monique Griffith Designs-click here to check them out.
Now are you going to take the challenge? Send pictures to me on facebook (send me a friend request) or my email at wendylawrence@surewest.net -I would love to see them.
If you love this paper as much as I do you can get it online from
A Cherry on Top or your local LSS
Stay tuned for more fantastic projects from Melanie & Joy...They work super hard for us and I personally appreciate it.

Aww, love every one of them, especially the "Oh Christmas Tree"!
Thats such a fun idea doing the December Daily Challenge! I can hardly wait to scrapbook Thanksgiving and now Christmas! This is like writing a journal in pictures!
These are gorgeous! I am not sure I could even do 31 days, and the 365 is just way out of the question! Can't wait to see the rest. Happy Holidays!

31 days does seem much less daunting than 365! Great job with your little album - and your commitment to the 31 days!
Beautiful album. I may take the ideas and use them for LOs, but am not even able to commit to a December Daily this year - much too much on my plate. Will try to aim for one next year, tho!
What a great idea....love it!

What a great project. Thanks for sharing. I never realized there was a coffee cup on the Joys of the Season cart. I love the way that happens. You go back and look at them again, and see something new each time! Thanks again.

Holy organization! You can do a daily design in December? Very impressive. Thanks for sharing your delightful project.
Great idea! I'll be doing this when my kids are a bit older. I don't craft near as much as I'd like!
Janine
Your DD looks great. I've thought about doing one for years now (even when I did Project 365 in 2009!) - but I just don't have enough energy in dec., I decided, to tak on another project. Yours will turn out great, I can tell! TFS!
Adorable! :o) JenBrierley2 at gmail dot com

Love the December Daily Challenge. First, the booklet which you've started is terrific. But what a fun way to do an advent calendar in reverse .. remembering the memories of the holiday season.
Love the mini!
What a wonderful idea to follow through and save all those little Christmas memories some that sometimes get forgot. I have to try this myself. TFS
I'm with you. 31 sounds much more doable than 365! Your album is so gorgeous. Absolutely the best Christmas mini out there.
Love it. What beautiful paper! I need some!!! :)
I love your book and the layouts. The paper is beautiful. I can't imagine doing a daily challenge. I have a hard enough time getting something done once a week, work get in the way.

You are off to a wonderful start. Love your pages
Nice paper! Great Job! Christmas is in the air!!
The paper is very pretty, and you did a great job on your project. The December Daily is a good idea, but I just don't think I'd have the time to do something every day right now.
I love this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration. papermemories4u at yahoo dot com
What a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
This looks fabulous!
really cute idea :D
This is such a great idea! You say 365 is too much for you, but if you break it down into 12 31-day books, you can do it:) Thanks for the inspiration!

That is such a neat idea! Thank You for sharing with us.

Beautiful paper, and beautiful layouts! But I'm sorry to say that I cannot do a daily challenge....
Wendy T.
WOW Wendy! Your book looks soooo pretty! That paper looks AMAZING! It's also a wonderful idea to scrap 30 days instead of 365 days.... I like the concept and I think I might have to give it a go... :o)
Thanks for sharing! I've seen a few other ones of these albums lately but they all had the whole book done before Dec 1. Did you do that? I have a really hard time working without knowing what pics I have or what was going to be done that day. I have a little time to myself tonight...I might see if I can get "caught up" & join you for this project. The key, for me, will be to remember to keep it simple. Thanks for the inspiration!!
fun project!
Let's see, to catch up, Day 1, got my hair cut (all of them), day 2, put up the Christmas Tree.. day 3, St. John's Holiday Craft Fair ("needed" more stuff) hehe, today...shop, shop, shop. You have such great ideas. Love your new kit.
Wow, this paper is amazing!
The stuff is great, I love them all. I cannot take the challenge because I do not know how to upload pictures and projects.TFS

I have really loved this idea when I've seen other people do it, although I've never tried it myself.
I started one of the 365. I was going to print out and place on each day of a calendar once the year was done. Yeah, I got about 2 weeks into it. I think maybe I'll try your idea. We'll start with Winter Break. TFS
Neat ideas!

Wonderful idea! I can't imagine doing this through December, you are a brave soul to take this challenge on at such a busy time. Great job, hope we get to see more of it.

I LOVE this!!! I am totally inspired! Can't wait to break out my Christmas pictures! Thanks!
Cute ideas! I'm trying to do a cross between Dec Daily and Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas...it's a challenge alright!
Hey Wendy! I love your December Daily samples and the paper is FANTASTIC! It's great that you are using several different carts on this project. Thanks for working so hard for us as well.
Love your ideas, thanks for sharing!
Like the 31-day idea. Would be nice to do from Thanksgiving to New Years! Personally I would have to take a pic or some idea a day and make the actual album in Jan or Feb!
this calendar rocks!! Its perfectly cute!!
What a fun idea. December is chalk full of days to scrapbook. There is so much to be done daily. Just not sure I would be able to remember to stop and record and take pictures on a daily basis, let alone design a page a day.
Marcie
I am doing a DD! thanks for sharing yours. Next year I am going bigger!
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
Very cute idea! TFS!
Neat idea. I could never do a daily challenge in December. Too much stuff going on. More power to you!
