Hi, everyone! I thought it might be fun to revisit the Preserves Cricut cartridge, as I just got the Preserves Cricut companion folders. I decided to use them in an unusual way, which you will see below.
Also, today, I thought it would be fun (and maybe daring) to cut my focal image small (pear3 cut at 1-1/2"). This A2 sized card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") required a smaller image. Lately I've been making larger cards but I thought I should go back to the standard sizing.
My scalloped and regular circles were actually punched out. Paper is by October Afternoon, Coredinations and JillyBean Soup. Ribbon by Stampin Up! and sentiment by Papertrey Ink. In fact, that "thank you" was stamped on the edge of an EK Success punch that I turned 90 degrees and cut down.
The little leaf sprig is from the Martha Stewart branch punch.
Here you can the see the inside and below you can see how the Cuttlebug folder embossing actually shows up on the inside of the card, for a different twist on things. I love these Preserves Cuttlebug Companion folders!
Below you can see the card - I pop dotted the focal image to give it more presence on the card. I also used the Swiss Dots folder to cuttlebug the background that the pear sits on. Most everything is better Cuttlebugged!

I love this card...soooo many details that really add up and really take this card over the top!
