Wrapping Up our Week of the Imagine with Another Card

Similar to Wednesday's card, we cut this image using the new Cricut Imagine Machine and the Cricut Imagine More cartridge in layers and then added in the "4U", filled with color using the Don Juan cartridge.  We cut the flower at 4" and all it's associated layers.  "4U" was cut at 2-1/2" and filled with a colors from the patterns on the Imagine More cartridge.  Background paper was also cut from the patterns on the Imagine More cartridge.  Edges are inked.  The card is 5-1/2" square.

Everything but the background kraft cardstock was printed out using the Cricut Imagine More and Don Juan cartridges and then layered.

We want to reassure our regular readers that we will continue to post projects that primarily focus on the regular Cricut cartridges (Solutions, Full Size, Lite and Cake).  This week has been focused in on the Imagine because of its upcoming launch this coming Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 12:01 am EST on HSN.  We know many of you were curious about the machine and wanted to give you a chance to learn about it and explore it with us.

Next week, we will have special guest designer (a Cricut message board favorite!!) joining us who will be featuring regular Cricut projects.  More on that on Sunday!

For more Imagine information, go to Obsessed with Scrapbooking and Courtney Lane Designs.  For the most thorough and complete set of questions and answers out there, head over to Clever Someday's blog, where she has compiled a very detailed Q and A.

Love seeing what you can do with this machine. There are a lot of times when I don't have the perfect paper for a project I am working on and have to rethink my project. I can see where this machine would solve that problem in many instances. Wish it were in my budget. Maybe someday. Thanks for all that you two do.--Ryansmaama
