Love those Penguins! Card with Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge

Wrapping up our week of Christmas cards is this 5" x 7" penguin card using the new Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge.  This is currently available at HSN and on pre-order at other sites online.

Penguin eyes are actually layered and had to be pierced a little to show through.  Overall, though, it was very easy layering.  I cut them at 3" and chose silver glitter paper for the nose and feet because I thought yellow would clash with the rest of the card.

The "chill out" word art is also on the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and was cut at 1".  No problems cutting it BUT there is a little face inside the "o" and it was too tiny to see properly,  So, I decided to put a large SEI brad with a shiny white center into the "o" instead.

I added a small strip of blue coordinating fabric paper to the inside of the card.  All paper is by SEI and cardstock by Core'dinations,  Punch from Martha Stewart and ribbon from Hobby Lobby (they have 50% off this week...). Glitter sections from DCWV.  I cuttlebugged the snow layer using the Divine Swirls folder.
