Week 14: Home Decor Pop Up Photo Frame

Hi, this is Joy and this cool triple frame was created using instructions and materials from Club Scrap! NOTE: I added a direct link to the project kit at Club Scrap for purchase! They always have amazingly creative ideas for paper crafting! I used Anna Griffin Christmas papers and epoxy stickers, in keeping with the Christmasy theme of the day!

Front Cover:

The "Joy" was cut using the Gypsy font at 1.65", using the regular and shadow features. The background to the "Joy" was cut from Winter Woodland at 3" and 3 1/4" using white and red Core'dinations paper. The white was embossed using the Cuttlebug with the Snowflakes folder.

Inner Cover:

The inner cover snowman and sentiment was made using Anna Griffin's vellum Christmas pack and her coordinating papers.

Inside Center Section:

Above, I am holding the inside center pop up section, which folds down upon opening the two covers.

Above, that section is now folding down.

Ta da! The two outside sections hold 4"x6" vertical photos, while the inside section has a bottom pop up section and the top "Let It Snow" word art, from Winter Woodland, cut at 3", using all the shadow/blackout features.

Side View of the Pop Up Section:

The above section can be decorated with photos and sticker "word art" on both the pop up sectioned area and the portion in front of it.

Views of the right and left sides of the project, where 4"x6" photos would slide in. The round epoxy pieces are by Anna Griffin.

For those of you wondering why I don't have any photos in here, I have small kids whose photos I don't want to publish on the internet and thus, no photos!

Tune in tomorrow to see some fun gift packaging ideas!

Also, one of our guest designers, Susan, has submitted an entry into the Gypsy Design Challenge contest and you can vote for her by clicking here: The Gypsy 24-hour Design Challenge Project by Susan Edwards

There is no registering required to vote! Her work is amazing and we say congratulations on your gorgeous entry, Susan! Great job!

Also, keep Tammy in your prayers as she is facing three funerals this week of family members and a close friend. She and her family are staying strong but appreciate any good thoughts you could send her.

Also, due to these unforeseen events, we will be postponing the Spooktacular event to the following Friday, November 6. This gives you an extra week to enter to win! Head over HERE! to enter to win!
