This is Joy with today's crafty gift! Actually, though, this project was done by all the Christmas with the Cricut girls - Tammy, Melanie and myself! We decided to team up to complete today's project and alleviate some stress along the way!
The video below shows how to make the base of the paper bag album. It's really very easy and quite a fun project to do with kids. People love to look in the openings and find the tags also!
Now, for the nitty gritty details: Melanie made the gorgeous cover (AMAZING, as always) and her process of creating is to select papers and draw a sketch first. The scalloped rectangle on the cover is from Mini Monograms and was cut at 6". "Be" was also from Mini Monograms and was cut at 2 1/4". Golly and Jolly words are from Hello Kitty Font and cut at 1 1/4". Ribbon is from American Crafts and of course, the paper is from Cosmo Cricket, our paper sponsor this week.
Other cuts: The bell from Sweethearts was cut at 2 1/4" using the regular key, shadow and layers. The brown tags were cut at 4 3/4". The large tags were cut at 4 3/4"x5 3/4" and the file folder tabs were cut using a punch.

I love this I'm going to have a play later to see if I can alter it a little to sell for school fairI have some plain bag's but with a clear cellophane front which would I think work well for this project.......Not for every pocket but for one or two I think that they would look good Maybe if I lined the inside......Hmmmm this is why I love papercrafting you take one idea and put a twist on it to make it your own.

I've made books with the brown paper bags and they always look much more "rustic". Messy could be another description! I like the clean look of these white paper bags.
