Week 6: Simple Card Monday using Lyrical Letters

Happy Monday, Everyone!!! This is Melanie and I have a very simple card for you today using the FABULOUS Lyrical Letters cartridge.

I really love the way you combine your supplies. I had a thought - could you drag a white stamp pad across the embossing to get the same look as the sanding or are they that much different? A simple card with so much class - NICE!

Oh I like this card ... what a great look ... and one of the parts I like the best is the faint poinsettia stamped as a watermark behind the Merry Christmas stamp ... what a great look and it helps to tie in the lighter green colored ribbon too! Another fabulous creation Melanie! TFS

I understand that you have limited time -- but it might have been helpful to see how you cut the "red" outline part. And, if you have reverse pieces of each of the colors, couldn't each cut effectively produce two cards -- still having the "inside" piece of each color for placement for the enclosure sentiment?

What was the foam matting that you referred to in the video? You said it was great to use with acrylic stamps. You used it under a scrap piece of paper & did your stamping on it. Was it foamcore or what? Nice job! Mary S
