WEEK1: Wednesday Tags & Packaging using Accent Essentials.

Hello, Everyone and welcome to this blog! We are humbled by the incredible turnout and are so appreciative of your interest and your sweet comments!! You guys are great! This card is for you!

Wednesdays are our tags and packaging day. This week I am making tags and Accent Essentials is an awesome cart to do this with! I never would have thought that until I sat down and took a look at the booklet. My mind just started spinning with ideas for tags. This cart is so versatile!

This first set of pictures I cut all the tags at 3" and layered them using the shift button. The paper is Basic Grey 'Mistletoe and Pear'. I also used some of my CTMH stamps 'December Word Puzzle', 'No Peeking', 'Festive Frills', & 'Snow Flake Kisses'.

The next few are cut at 3 1/2". The paper used is 'Aspen' from CTMH. The stamps used are 'Feathered Flakes' & 'No Peeking' by CTMH.

Well, that is all I have for you this week. Make sure you check back tomorrow because Tammy has an awesome LO using Christmas Noel. You don't want to miss it! It is beautiful!

I get to make the 1st comment today. ;)

Too cute - thanks for sharing. Looks like I'll have to buy me a couple of stamps so I can make some tags. I don't have the AE cartridge yet...may have to come up with another way to cut. :)

I do not think that I have seen this cartridge in my local SS stores. Is it new? Can you scan the back of it. Great job on these tags. They are perfect card and scrapbook pages accents too.

Love the tags! I may have to go get the AE cart. This has inspired me to go make a few tags today. Your ideas are wonderful!

I love my Accent Essentials cartridge. I use it a lot just to cut plain old circles. I don't have many circle punches and this does the trick. Sometimes, though, it's good to see a cartridge through someone else's eyes and see that I can step out of the box. These tags are adorable! I know I'll be making some of my own!

I always make the tags for my christmas gifts. but I did not own a cricut until March (my b0day gift to myself). There are so many cool tags that can be made with it. I love the ideas you have given me.

These are so cut -- you ladies are amazingly talented and so sweet to share. Think I'll break out the cricut today and craft :)

OTTERSLN,

This cartridge is not one they sell in box stores. It comes with the expression, but you can buy it at a few shops online. It is also one you can get with your cricut rewards :-)

Hi Melanie,
Love the tags, as mentioned AE does have a lot of wonderful designs. I need to revisit my carts more often, we tend to forget with so many new carts on offer. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Wonderful ideas! Do you use a slot punch for where you've put your ribbon through? If so, which one?? I've been looking at these and can't decide which I would get and if it's a worthwhile purchase!

Charkola,

it is a slot punch that I got from SU! It is one of my got to punches so I highly recommend it. It is simply called slot punch if you are planning on ordering it. If you do not have a SU rep I know someone who has the BEST monthly specials and would be more than happy to help you!
