Obsessed with the Cricut...

Hi! I am Happy Happy Joy Joy who authors the "Obsessed with Scrapbooking" blog!

I am crazy about scrapbooking and have been for the past seven years! Like most people, my first introduction to scrapbooking came in the form of a Creative Memories party. It looked so fun and cute that I decided to start scrapbooking. That same year, I went to my first Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, Texas, where I took my first classes. In fact, at my first class on matching patterned paper, I sat in the front row with my little CM photo trimmer, waiting for instructions. Imagine my horror when everyone pulls out their 12" trimmer (something I had never seen) and proceeds to cut down paper! I sat there, front and center, not being able to participate because I didn't even own the right trimmer. Oh, it was embarrassing! I laugh about it now because it was kind of funny. But, since then, I sit in the back row....hee hee!

Anyway, I have been married to my husband Brian for 15 years and have two wonderful kids, Kelly and Robbie, who keep me busy! They are a lot of fun and provide quite a bit of excitement in our lives!

I started using the Cricut machine heavily in the past year when I was the lucky winner of an Expression at a Michael's grand opening! It is such a pleasure to work with and I have made loads of fun things! I don't know how I scrapped before this!

I'm so glad you are joining us on this new Cricut adventure! Our goal is to provide you with inspiration to create all your Christmas gifts, cards and projects! We hope you will join us daily for inspiration and then on Sundays for our giveaways!

I love your site and how great for you to win one! I have only had mine for a week and can't stop - LOL!! I have a new technique for using the pens that I would like to share with you if I can! I'm a computer geek and figured there had to be an easier way to load and unload and I figured it out? Can I post it on your site or send it to you? I just want to share it with everyone!

Hi Joy - I have a question and wasn't sure where to post it. For your Christmas ornaments using the Martha Stewart fine glitter and floor paste (wax?), can you use plastic instead of glass for the ornament balls? Thanks -

Hi. I am an obsessed scrapbooker! I was a creative Memoeies consultant for 6 years. I totally enjoyed it and loved their products. But with the purchase of my cricut machine I have moved on. There are just so many more items out there to scrap with! Love my cricut but I would like to upgrade. Does anyone have any advice about the cricut expression #1 and the cricut expression #2? I would like to hear youe veiws on this. Also I would like to cut material and make crowns to adhere to t-shirts. Has anyone done this and where do I get the supplies? Thnks!
